Nurses will find that Sioux Falls is the largest city in South Dakota and its name comes from the Sioux Tribe of American Indians.

Over the past decade the city has received considerable praise for its vibrant, forward looking community and especially its engaged and friendly people. In terms of security residents experience less violent and non-violent crimes than in other similarly-sized cities. The oft quoted observation is that Sioux Falls is a community of neighbours who look out for one other.

In terms of economic development Sioux Falls is certainly one of the fastest-growing cities in the Midwest. It is proud of its thriving job market, which offers challenging and promising careers in cutting-edge fields. Indeed the city is periodically identified for its economic climate this perception is underlined by reasonable startup costs, abundant real estate and office space.

In terms of culture this urban centre has wonderful sculptures that are displayed year-round from the Washington Pavilion to Falls Park in downtown Sioux Falls. The exhibits change every twelve and most often reflect historical significance and progressive standards for the city.

The city is justifiably proud of is extensive facilities which especially cater for children who advance their skills by participating in camps and team events, up-and-coming high school and college athletes who use state-of-the-art training equipment to refine their skills. Those whose leisure activity involves a fishing rod can try their luck at Covell Lake, Family Park or the Big Sioux River, and eastern South Dakota is considered the Pheasant Hunting Capital of the world. Alternatively cross country skiing on groomed trails is a popular local pursuit.
