Job Description: RN, PACU

Department: Perioperative Services – Elite Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery

Campus: Elite Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery of OakBend

Nurse Requirement: The Registered Nurse has responsibility for responsible for nursing care and related assistance to patients on the unit. The staff nurse provides direction to licensed vocational nurses and non-professional nursing personnel in providing direct patient care. The staff nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff.

Other requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program

Work Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience

Knowledge, and Abilities: ACLS and PALS within one year of hire.

Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Required Licenses/Certifications Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse, or Graduate Nurse, Board of Eligible Certifications in basic life support.
