Department: Critical Care

Nurse Requirement:

The Charge Nurse plans, organizes, directs, and supervises other professional and non-professional staff with the objective of maximising patient care. The ICU Nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff.

Other requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program: BSN preferred

Work Experience: Two years clinical ICU unit experience, where RN has undertaken charge responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Advance Cardiac Life Support. Leadership ability and critical thinking skills. Good communication skills. Computer skills

Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure in Texas as registered Nurse and American Heart Association BLS.
