Campus: OakBend Medical Center- Williams Way, 22003 SW Freeway
Nurse Requirement: The Registered Nurse at Jackson Street, Williams Way Campus has responsibility for professional nursing care and ancillary assistance to patients on the unit. The staff nurse gives direction to licensed vocational nurses and non-professional nursing personnel so as to give direct patient care. The staff nurse also supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff .
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
Work Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Leadership ability and critical thinking skills. Good communication skills. Computer skills
Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse. Certification in Basic Life Support. Advance Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support (or ENPC) within 6 months of employment. TNCC within 18 months of employment.
