The city embraces a vibrant arts scene and embraces its history and influence on American culture For more information visit: www.baltimore.org  DescriptionAt this facility the physical therapist works with patients who have or are recovering from: musculoskeletal disorders neurological dysfunctions injuries or illnesses that impair function The physical therapy focuses on improving skills such as getting out of bed, walking safely with crutches or a walker, moving specific joints, and strengthening specific muscles. The physical therapy treatment includes stretching, strengthening, muscle re-education, balance training, coordination training and functional training. The physical therapist teaches all patients home exercise programs so they can continue to improve once treatment is complete.
