Ohana Pacific has 4 healthcare facilities located Hawaii Ann Pearl Nursing Facility (APNF) and Leeward Integrated Health Services (LIHS) are located on the island of Oahu which is home to the world famous Waikiki Beach and the resort of Honolulu. Both are residential skilled nursing facilities, staffed by Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses with 24 hour care. Garden Isle Healthcare and Hale Kupuna are located on the island of Kauai where you'll find the Hawaiian 'Grand Canyon' along with many fabulous beaches and coves. Like APNF and LIHS, both are residential skilled nursing facilities with Garden Isle housing 109 beds and Hale Kupuna, 84 beds.  DescriptionAt Ohana Pacific, the Nursing team is family orientated and many are long time employees (15 years +). Each member of staff brings experience, knowledge and leadership abilities that are both unique and invaluable. Each of the locations has a variety of opportunities to support you as a critical team member. All 4 homes provide care to residents with a full range of acuity needs including Nursing Care, Physical & Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Respiratory Therapy and Advance Wound Management. There are also Rehabilitation services at some of the homes. In addition to the clinical aspects of care, each home also provides many services and opportunities for the residents to enable them to socialize and build relationships. The residents range in age from 50 to 105 and their level of care required varies accordingly from 'low' to 'acute'. QualificationsOhana Pacific is looking for nurses with a minimum of 2 years experience. As there are a variety of positions, they require nurses who can be flexible in their shifts (days and nights) as no guarantees can be made at this early stage as to what shift patterns are available. If successful at the interview you will be offered a contract with a 2 year commitment. Skills/ExperienceYou’ll be supported by a strong, dedicated, multi-national team of nurses, but as the hospital is expanding you will be expected to adapt and achieve quickly. Nurses must be team players, driven, willing to learn and adapt to new things, have a desire to further their education and provide exceptional patient care. Ohana Pacific are keen for nurses to professionally develop and to this end offer an attractive tuition reimbursement scheme. Salaries are expected to start at around $26.00 per hour for each facility and will increase with experience and length of service.
