Successful candidates will receive assistance with meeting all US requirements including RN licensure, immigration and relocation. Rhode Island Hospital is looking for RNs with a minimum of 1 year of experience and strong computer skills (electronic documentation). As there are a variety of positions, they ideally they require nurses who can be flexible in their shifts (days and nights). You’ll be working closely with the doctors and supported by a strong dedicated team of nurses, but as the hospital is expanding (RIH plans to employ a further 200 staff over the next 2 years), they will also looking to some nurses who can show leadership potential. Nurses employed in these positions will plan, direct, and provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit using a multidisciplinary approach. Applications will be condsider from nurses who hold an RGN qualification and are currently practising as a Medical or Surgical nurse. Although idealy you will have passed your NCLEX, the hospital will consider applications from exceptional nurses who are yet to start the NCLEX process. Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills. Nurses be able to understand the patient’s condition and be able to communicate this to co-workers. Registered Nurses will have a sense of autonomy as this is a community based hospital where RNs work closely with physicians. As nurses will frequently be speaking with physicians over the phone, communication skills are essential.
