Hillcrest Medical Centre has been established for 90 years and is a 557 bed acute care facility affiliated with Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and the Oklahoma State University Medical Center. HMC is part of the Hillcrest Healthcare System which has over 5000 employees employed at 9 hospitals and physician clinics located throughout eastern Oklahoma. HMC has award winning medical services include cardiology, orthopedic and spine, women’s health, oncology. There is also the Alexander burns center (1 of 2 burns centres in all of Oklahoma) and Kaiser Rehabilitation Center. The hospital has recently undergone a $150 million improvement and expansion project, highlights of which include a new comprehensive Spine and Orthopaedic Center with state of the art operating rooms, 30 private patient rooms and a new 6 floor Heart Tower scheduled to be completed this year.  DescriptionHMC require nurses with a minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience (5 years for ICU positions). They are hiring nurses to cover night shifts for Medical / Surgical and ICU. Day shifts will be offered for Theatre positions. The pay will range from $20 - $30 per hour with a shift differential of upto $4.25 per hour. There are generous rates for overtime along with additional pay for those nurse nurses with exceptional qualifications. In addition to your salary, there is a tremendous benefits package which includes bonus’s and relocation re-imbursements. QualificationsApplications will be considered from nurses who hold an RGN qualification and are currently practising as an ICU / HDU nurse. Although ideally you will have passed your NCLEX, the hospital will consider applications from exceptional nurses who are yet to start the NCLEX process.
